Sorry for the delay in posting - I just moved and still need to unpack! But in the midst of my bags, suitcases and clothes strewn about the place - I will post some updates and back dated stories of black women in fashion.

Let's begin with Chanel Iman's editorial spread for Vogue China; in the shoot Chanel highlights some of Summer's trends and some timeless looks like the white dress and coat.



You know, I'm all for the distressed look; distressed denim, distressed jackets that near the point of vintage qualification - But holes in a tee and button downs qualifies as a simple waste....I otherwise loooove military inspired pieces!



Another highlight are the beautiful shades of blue, especially the cobalt blue featured in this shoot.

Naomi Campbell Graces the Cover Of Vogue Russia And Guest Edit

Naomi is still in business!!

The sometimes misunderstood supermodel will be all over Vogue Russia's April 2010 issue! It's a single-model issue so get use to seeing and reading quite a bit about her.

According to Fashionologie, guest editor Aliona Doletkaya wanted to "debunk" some myths about Naomi and we know there are quite a few to dispel. Naomi also serves as a guest editor and answers daring questions from the likes of Chanel Iman and Christian Louboutin.

The issues will be released March 25 - I can hardly wait - translator please!!
