The London based designer Christine Mhando launched Chichia in 2007; fusing influences from her birth place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and her current home where she grew up in London, England. What I love about Chichia is Christine's ability to use the traditional east African cotton printed fabric “KHANGA” in all her designs and maintain a very chic and wearable aesthetic.
